Criminal Defence Solicitor

Victor Chase Legal Recruitment are working with an award-winning, long-established Law firm who are now looking for two experienced Criminal Defence Solicitors / Advocates to join their ever expanding team in Hertfordshire.

This role is ideal for qualified Criminal Solicitors / Advocates with NQ-6 years PQE and preferably someone with Higher Rights of Audience. The successful candidate will have solid experience in a similar role and a good understanding of Private Criminal Defence matters. They will be experienced in managing a full and varied caseload to include Internet & Social Media, Road Traffic Offences, Military Law, Actual Bodily Harm, Racial Aggravation and much more.

The role involves:

• Attending Court to undertake advocacy and meticulous case preparation.
• You will have the ability to handle your own caseload from inception to completion with limited supervision,
• Be able to attend Court hearings,
• Pre-charge work and liaise with Counsel for complex trials.
