Job Overview: This role is a unique opportunity to work from home and manage a caseload of residential conveyancing files, ensuring a seamless and compliant transaction process for all clients.
Key Responsibilities:
Caseload Management:
- Take ownership of a caseload of residential conveyancing files, overseeing the entire transaction process.
- Provide expert guidance and initial consultations to clients.
Due Diligence:
- Perform thorough due diligence on properties, conducting title searches, land registry checks, and other relevant investigations.
- Analyse property reports and identify potential issues or concerns.
Contract Preparation:
- Draft, review, and modify contracts for property sales, purchases, and leases.
- Negotiate terms and conditions on behalf of clients, aiming for optimal outcomes.
Legal Compliance:
- Ensure all transactions are executed in full compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards.
- Stay updated on changes in property law and conveyancing practices.
Client Communication:
- Maintain open and regular communication with clients, providing transaction updates and addressing any inquiries or concerns.
- Act as a trusted advisor, offering expert insights on property-related matters.
Collaboration:
- Collaborate effectively with colleagues, real estate agents, lenders, and other stakeholders, facilitating the efficient exchange of information and documentation.
Qualifications:
- At least 2 years of experience in residential conveyancing.
- Profound knowledge of property law, regulations, and conveyancing procedures in England and Wales.
- Exceptional organisational and time management skills to manage a busy caseload effectively.
- Strong communication and client relationship management skills.
- Proficiency in conveyancing software and case management tools.
- Self-motivated and capable of working independently in a remote work environment.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality client service.
